Identification method of pollenability of wheat plants and improvement method of wheat plants using the method

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for specifically and efficiently identifying the cleistogamous/chasmogamous barley plants. PSOLUTION: Using a group of recombinant post-generation fixed lines for cleistogamous barley variety and chasmogamous barley variety, the pollination tendency of these individuals is judged accurately. As a result, it has been found that the pollination tendency exhibit monogenic control. The relevant gene lies on a 2H-chromosomal long arm. By using a molecular marker linking with the gene, it has been found to enable identifying the cleistogamous/chasmogamous barley plants. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
