PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for calculating the cost of purifying polluted soil by which the reasonable cost of purifying polluted soil can be calculated while keeping secrecy and urgency. SOLUTION: The system includes an input means, a database, an operation means and an output means. The input means is used to input main data and sub data, where the main data includes items representing the condition of the soil pollution of the objective land and the sub data includes items which influence the selection of the purification method to purify the polluted soil of the objective land and the estimation of the cost of purification. The database possesses stored information about the candidates for the purification method as the object for selection of the purification method and information about the unit cost per unit scale for purification of each purification method, where the unit cost necessary to calculate the cost of purification if one of the purification methods is adopted is included. The operation means is used to select the purification method to purify the polluted soil of the objective land and to calculate the cost of purification by using the items of the main data and the sub data inputted to the input means while referencing the information stored in the database. The output means is used to output the selected purification method and calculated cost of purification.
