PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chemical substance comprehensive managing system/ method, which can easily judge whether a used compound is a substance to be managed or not and which improve the usability for a user. SOLUTION: The chemical substance comprehensive managing system is provided with a substance name data base where a plurality of different names are made into a data base on the chemical substance listed in a substance to be managed data base. Thus, the used chemical substance is judged to be the substance to be managed or not. The substance name which is usually used in the system is set to the name which is plain for the user and the names cited in a report are automatically entered by the name designated by the law.
