PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems as shortage of waste disposal plants and deterioration of environment by recycling, as upper layer bed material for roads, excavated soil (surplus soil in construction), concrete blocks of construction waste, and asphalt blocks since the excavated soil in road construction was damped as industrial waste into a designated waste disposal plant and the destruction of nature and exhaustion of resources by the extraction of road materials were in serious conditions. ;SOLUTION: The concrete blocks, asphalt blocks, or mixture of concrete blocks and asphalt blocks of construction waste are added to the excavated soil and crushed. Quick lime is added to the crushed materials, and the mixture is screened into those of 40 to 20 mm in grain size, 20 to 2.5 mm in grain size, and 2.5 to 0 mm in grain size. The screened materials are mixed with each other at a specified ratio and then water content is controlled by spraying water thereon to recycle the upper layer bed material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
