"Calibration system to assess the accuracy of machine tool kinematics using a laser interferometric.This invention relates to a method for dynamic calibration of precision lathes and grinders of the kinematics of threads operating in order to cut threads and without machining loads ('empty').The angle of rotation of the spindle is measured by means of a polygon precision (11), mounted on the spindle, and a triggering device, optical - Electronic.This device is composed of a system of laser diode (15), and a pulse generator (16).A laser interferometric (7) measures the displacement of the car longitudinally in relation to a retroreflector (9) attached on the plate of the machine.When the spindle rotates, a train of pulses is generated by the triggering device.These pulses are transmitted to the card of the laser (17) to command the measurements made by the laser interferometric.A software was developed to acquire the data and plot the kinematic errors in graphical form.The components of the kinematic errors evaluated are the following: error of step progressu00edvo, error and error of axial cyclic fluctuation of the spindle.This method is, also, to measure the delay of servo drive of CNC machines operating in the mode of machine screws.An application of this calibrator of kinematic errors was carried out in a universal lathe and a CNC lathe.
