The herein disclosed mix of semi-ready tsoureki (Greek Easter sweet bread) comprises all the ingredients required (eggs, milk, fat, scents, flour, sugar and yeast) in a dehydrated form for the easy and quick preparation of a top- quality tsoureki based on a traditional recipe. Dough inflation and maturation lasts 60 minutes thereabouts in contrast to the classic preparation method where maturation varies from 100 to 120 minutes. Weighting of ingredients is abolished and, consequently, the preparation time minimized. Quality variations are excluded thanks to the use of a precise complete and homogenous mix adequate for the preparation of tsoureki the success of which is admittedly extremely difficult.
