摘要

A method for on line prediction of necking and rupture failure during sheet metal formability in a stamping operation by adapting multiple simulation which includes designing a tool and a cross-die-corresponding to actual geometrical shape of the sheet metal to be formed by CAD-model ,collecting data for shape , size and thickness of the sheet, determining the working condition being one of hot and cold, recording data for tool travel, recording load requirements, plotting a graph for principal strain and termination time and recording the value of stop change from the graph.
