METHOD FOR PROGNOSTICATION THE COMPLICATIONS OF PREGNANCY AND BIRTHS IN EXPECTANT MOTHERS WITH HERPETIC AND CYTOMEGALOVIRUS INFECTIONS

A method for prognostication the complications of pregnancy and births in expectant mothers with herpetic and cytomegalovirus infections is carried out by the analysis of their laboratory examination (serological, virological, cytological) results, on the basis of which clinical form of infection, its duration and activity is determined. The clinical implications of herpetic infection, presence of accompanying diseases and their course during pregnancy are additionally analysed. From the analysed indices the most meaningful prognostic signs of obstetrical complications are determined, according to which a prognostic chart is made. The index of probability the predicted complications of pregnancy and births is determined by Bayes' formula. Depending on the value of this index the pregnant is classified to the corresponding group: group of favorable prognosis with low probability of obstetrical complications (index Rpr 0.25), group of unfavorable prognosis with high probability of obstetrical complications (index Rpr 0.75), group with an indefinite prognosis in relation to obstetrical complications, that requires the additional inspection (indices Rpr in the range of from 0.25 to 0.75).
