MEASURING DEVICE FOR ADHERENCE QUALITY OF ROAD PAVEMENT AND PNEUMATIC WHEEL IN ZONE OF CONTACT OF THOSE AT CHANGING RATES OF MOTION AND SPECIFIC PRESSURE ON SURFACE (RACHUBOVSKYI'S ADHERENCE METER)
A measuring unit for adherence quality of road pavement has support frame with pulley block, samples of tire protector with load for pressing those to surface of pavement, trigger mechanism and measuring device. Support frame is made of telescopic sections with side uprights that are hingedly tilted and fixed in T-like position, uprights have telescopic pins for fixation of frame on surface of pavement, samples of tire protector and load for pressing those are combined with tank and dozer of water quantity wetting zone of friction of the samples on the pavement, a spring mover for sample motion is made with controlled pre-tension and possibility of setting and of variation of traction force and linear rate of samples. Flexible actuating device is placed at circuit of moving and fixed branches of pulley block, and dynamometer for calibration of value of the mover accumulated potential power and measurement of power of traction force for samples over the pavement is built-in to the fixed branch of pulley block together with graph plotter, motion of circle paper diagram of which starts simultaneously with start of the mover for graphical representation of change of traction force depending on quality of adherence of tire protector samples at rate of motion of those over the pavement determined by means of top-watch with automated switch on and off at beginning and at the end of motion of circle diagram, respectively.
