The system has a set of geodesic coordinates, which define an area or space and an additional information associated with the space. The system has a receiver, which has a pager type Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the geodesic coordinates of the mobile device. The receiver has a signal processor to isolate the set of geodesic coordinates of the received signal and associated additional information of the space. The receiver has a comparator to determine the geodesic coordinates of the receiver are with in the space or area defined by isolated geodesic coordinates. An independent claim is also included for a information and control device in mobile units.
