THE USE OF AUTOLOGOUS DERMAL FIBROBLASTS FOR THE REPAIR OF SKIN AND SOFT TISSUE DEFECTS

The application concerns a method of repairing subcutaneous or dermal tissuein a subject. The method involves the preparationof cultured dermal fibroblasts from a specimen obtained from the subject andthe injection of the fibroblast preparation, substantially freeof immunogenic proteins, to repair the subcutaneous or dermal tissue. Themethod is applicable to the repair of rhytids, stretch marks,depressed scars, and non-traumatic cutaneous depressions as well as to thecosmetic augmentation of the lips.
