INTERFACE CIRCUIT FOR FULL-CUSTOM AND SEMI-CUSTOM CLOCK DOMAINS

An integrated circuit comprises an interface circuitbetween analog circuit part FC (full-custom) and digitalcircuit part SC (semi-custom) for every signal to be exchanged.The interface circuits are combined to form a central interfaceblock. As a result, line lengths and loads are predetermined,which yields a simplified dimensioning of the gates and theirdrivers as well as an exact timing simulation of the semi-custom part. Developments are directed to the application ofpredetermined signals and the sequential through-connection ofa signal at the outputs of the interface facing toward thedigital circuit part.
