PETROLEUM REFINING PLANT PARAMETER PREDICTING DEVICE AND PARAMETER PREDICTING METHOD

A prediction model optimized in respect of the prediction time and first and second parameters used for making a model is made, and a specific parameter of a petroleum refining plant is accurately predicted using the prediction model. The first and second parameters are measured, PLS (Partial Least Squares) analysis is conducted on at least part of the first and second parameters under model making condition, and a prediction model optimized in respect of the prediction time and the first and second parameters used for making the model. When a model update condition is met, an update command to update the optimized prediction model is outputted, an optimized prediction model is newly made according to the update command.
