The invention relates to an automatic window system comprising a frame, two moveable window wings, one being an inner wing and the other being an outer wing, and a mechanism which can open and close the above-mentioned window wings independently from each other. The various specific physical and optical properties of the two glass surfaces, completed by a motor-driven blind and a curtain located on rollers, together with the possibility of being able to automatically start up various positions of the two window wings with the aid of the mechanism thus described, is fundamental and important for controlling the atmospheric and temperature balance of a building. A solution is also provided for the window, enabling the heat flow to be modified between and through the glazed window wings.
