A life-style improvement supporting device and method for giving an adequate advice corresponding to the execution state of life-style improvement of a subject. An objective information receiving section (120) receives objective information on the subject from the subject (an average value of the amount of salinity in urine for the current month) (S301), and calculates the variation (=A) from the average value of the preceding month. An examination result receiving section (110) receives the examination result (blood pressure value) of the subject from the subject (S302), and computes the variation (=B) in the blood pressure value in one month. An examination result judging section (130) vaults the life-style improvement behavior on the basis of the computed value A, B. The life-style improvement behavior is evaluated for the combinations (four patterns) of the variations A, B (S303), and an advice corresponding to the evaluation results is presented (S304 to S320).
