Disclosed is an environmental stress rupture resistance modifier composed of a compound having a structure represented by the general formula (I) below in a molecule, while having a molecular weight of 200-2000. Also disclosed are a method for improving environmental stress rupture resistance by using such an environmental stress rupture resistance modifier, and a resin composition which is improved in environmental stress rupture resistance by containing such an environmental stress rupture resistance modifier.
