A mobile communication terminal capable of performing personal relations management and a personal relations management method using the same are provided to allow a user to actively and efficiently use the mobile communication terminal in personal relations maintenance by automatically classifying and managing familiarity levels between objects and the user by using a communication breakdown with the objects stored in a phone number list. A communication breakdown DB(14) stores a communication breakdown between respective objects stored in a phone number DB(12) of a mobile communication terminal and a user of the mobile communication terminal. A familiarity level classifying unit(10) classifies familiarity levels between the respective objects and the user by using the communication breakdown stored in the communication breakdown DB(14). A familiarity level managing unit(20) confirms and manages whether familiarity levels of the respective objects are changed.
