Provided are a cup patjuk(rice gruel boiled together with red-beans) which is improved in taste and convenience and is reduced in cost, and a method for preparing the cup patjuk. The cup patjuk comprises a patjuk(rice gruel boiled together with red-beans) material which comprises 60 wt% of gyeongdan(sweet rice balls) prepared by steaming a mixture powder to prepare tteok (rice cake), molding it into a shape of a ball with a diameter of 1-2 cm and pasting it a nonglutinous rice powder, 38 wt% of a red bean powder prepared by steaming red beans, drying the steamed one and pulverizing the dried one, and 2 wt% of a seasoning comprising salt and sugar; and a cup which receives the patjuk material and whose aperture is sealed with a sealing paper. The patjuk material is cook with the warm water filled into the cup.
