A mobile terminal, a system and a method for providing a message banner output function during video call communication are provided to provide video call communication to the hearing impaired and an education program using video call communication, and allow users to make conversion with characters as looking at the face each other in an environment where voice call communication is not available. Mobile terminals(110,112) perform voice or video call communication by way of a mobile communication network. A mobile terminal(110) encodes a message banner like an image signal and transmits it to another mobile terminal(112) during the video call communication. The mobile terminal(112) receives and displays the image signal including the message banner. A banner contents providing server(130) provides paid/free banner contents used for the message banner to the mobile terminals(110,112).
