An apparatus and a method for implementing virtual reality using 3D(Dimensional) images are provided to enable a user to realistically enjoy the virtual reality by designing an object to which feelings of depth and space are provided and displaying the object on a monitor for presenting the 3D images. 3D spatial information is provided to an object and a 3D object is designed. A view difference angle by left and right view angles is provided to the 3D object and objects according to the view difference angle are generated. An object according to the left view angle and an object according to the right view angle are rendered. The rendered objects are stored in respective storage spaces. The stored objects are read and processed into image signals adapted to be displayed. The processed image signals by the left and right view angles are inputted to a pair of image forming units installed to cross at right angles, and projected to a polarization mirror installed between the image forming units.
