METHOD OF PRODUCING STAR FISH SALT RADIATING FAR-INFRARED RAY, AND THE SALT RADIATING FAR-INFRARED RAYS PRODUCED BY THE METHOD

A method of manufacturing starfish powder-containing salt radiating far-infrared rays e is provided, which removes heavy metals by absorption into the container or evaporation, permits mineral ingredients useful for human body to be present in an oxidation form and thus produces salt useful as health supplementary food. A starfish powder-containing salt is prepared by the steps of: putting starfish powder into a heat-resistant container containing elvan and wood jade; putting the heat-resistant container into a furnace with an outer wall comprising a fire brick having three or more layers and having a coating layer containing the same component as that of the heat-resistant container at the inner most two layers of the fire brick and heating at 750 to 850deg.C for 6 to 8hr; cooling to room temperature; dissolving the obtained starfish salt in water; and evaporating the saline. The coating layer contains 15 to 40% by weight of elvan, 15 to 40% by weight of wood jade, 1 to 4% by weight of bentonite, 7 to 15% by weight of feldspar, 5 to 12% by weight of sodalite, 6 to 13% by weight of kaolin and 2 to 5% by weight of talc.
