A method and a system for calculating a sale unit cost of a keyword AD are provided to reasonably calculate a sale unit cost of the keyword AD by using a purchase power index calculated according to exposure number/sale information for a predetermined period. An exposure number calculator(610) calculates an exposure number of a keyword for a predetermined period. A purchase power index calculator(630) calculates the purchasing power index based on the sale information for the keyword for the predetermined period. The sale information includes a saleable and sold number of the keyword. A sale unit cost operator(640) operates the sale unit cost of the keyword AD by using the calculated exposure number information and the purchase power index. The sale unit cost operator makes an increasing rate of the purchase power index higher as a difference between the saleable and sold number information for the keyword gets smaller.
