CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DEVICE IN DIGITAL LIVING NETWORK ALLIANCE NETWORK

A device control system in a digital living network and a method thereof are provided to deliver a response to a control point which invokes a call, when a UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) action is completely processed, in order to notify the control point that the action is completely processed, so that a device can quickly process the next action. A control point(100) receives values of registered state variable lists together with an action end message for a random action requested from a device(200), while setting state variable values for receiving an end signal for an action request received from the device(200) to enable values as registering the values of the at least more than one of the other state variable lists. The state variables of the device(200) are 'ActionFinishNotify' state variables.
