METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT OF INTERNATIONAL ROAMING QUALITY AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL THEREFOR

A method for measuring international roaming quality and a mobile communication terminal therefor are provided to easily measure quality and performance of a foreign mobile communication system at a cheap cost by using the mobile communication terminal which performs an international roaming. A method for measuring international roaming quality comprises the following several steps. A call processing unit of a mobile communication terminal performs an international roaming and then generates a call process signal according as a call connection is attempted within an area of a foreign mobile communication network(S101). The call processing unit generates a performance code between a call connection failure or a call connection success in accordance with the generation of the call process signal(S103). A quality measuring unit measures quality of the foreign mobile communication network if the performance code is generated(S105). Then, the quality measuring unit calculates statistical call receipt or sending data by using the performance code, matches the measured quality and the statistical call receipt or sending data with network identification information extracted from the performance code, and stores the matched data(S107).
