METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ROAD GUIDE SERVICE AT CROSSROADS

A method and a system for providing road guiding information at crossroads are provided to enhance user convenience by providing road guiding information using a short-range communication module, which includes radio frequency network, zigbee, and bluetooth modules. A path guiding server(230) receives current position coordinates and destination information, and transmits path guiding information. A sign board information supply unit(240) transmits sign board information between current and next nodes to a navigation terminal according to next node information. The navigation terminal determines crossroads and receives the sign board information from the sign board information supply unit through short-range communication according to the determined crossroads condition. A mobile communication network(220) delivers the position coordinates and destination information to the path guiding server and delivers the path guiding information to the navigation terminal.
