A method for preparing mesoporous/macroporous silicate compositely having easy material transfer characteristics as well as high adsorption capability due to a large surface area that is a merit coming from respective pore size regions, and an adsorbent of VOCs using the prepared mesoporous/macroporous silicate are provided. A method for preparing mesoporous silicate having macropores comprises the steps of: synthesizing spherical polymer particles by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization to form macropores; self-assembling the synthesized spherical polymer particles with a predetermined size by ice-crystallization, thereby arranging the spherical polymer particles with a predetermined size regularly; mixing a mother liquid with the regularly arranged spherical polymer particles with a predetermined size to obtain a template of the spherical polymer particles in which mesopores are uniformly formed; and removing the template through a drying process and a firing process.
