A method for manufacturing a large transverse bamboo flute using bamboo strips is provided to reduce manufacturing costs for the large transverse bamboo flute by using bamboo strips. A method for manufacturing a large transverse bamboo flute using bamboo strips includes the steps of cutting bamboo into board type or arc type bamboo scrolls(121) including inside and outside tissues, forming a cavity(125) on the scrolls, adhering to the endodermis tissue of the bamboo toward a direction of the cavity to form a bamboo tube(100) with the cavity as the central figure, processing internal and external surfaces of the bamboo tube, and forming an acoustic hole.
