A fuzzy logic intrusion detection scheme for a directed diffusion-based sensor network is provided to prevent or cope with a huge damage that may be caused by intrusion by analyzing characteristics of various attacks. Upon receiving a request for a task from a user, a base node configures a request message, gathers and stores collected information, and provides them to the user. Multiple sensor nodes(3) are disposed in a sensor field to establish an actual sensor network, sense an object, and have the basic processing and storing capabilities and communication capability. Multiple detection nodes(7) are connected between the base node and each sensor node(3), gather information on abnormal behavior from peripheral sensor nodes(3), and transmit them to the base node.
