A control agent of white grubs by using Butlerius sp. as Entomopathogenic nematode and Providencia sp. as Nematodes symbiotic bacteria is provided to control white grubs inducing damages of golf field, and sweet potato and potato without environmental pollution. A control agent of white grubs contains Butlerius sp. as Entomopathogenic nematode and Providencia sp. as Nematodes symbiotic bacteria. A method for controlling white grubs comprises the steps of: capturing a larva of a wild goldbug, isolating Butlerius sp. from the wild goldbug, and sterilizing and homogenizing the isolated Butlerius sp. to isolate Providencia sp.; culturing the isolated Providencia sp., inoculating Butlerius sp. into the cultured medium of Providencia sp. and culturing them; spraying 30-150 IJ/larvae of the cultured medium of infected Butlerius sp. to habitat of white grubs.
