METHOD FOR AGREEMENT OF THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE PARTIES OF DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND PAPER WHEN PRINTING WITHOUT FIELDS

A method for matching an aspect ratio of a digital photo for borderless printing is provided to improve a photo while the photo is printed by the borderless printing in a photo printer and an MFP(Multi-Functional Peripheral) device. Side strips of a source image are analyzed in order to estimate possibility for reinforcing an image where an artifact is not seen. Based on a result of the analysis, a desired aspect ratio is matched and one image or images on both sides are reinforced. When the images are reinforced, the side strips are mirrored and copied. The side strips are analyzed by a down-sampled version of the image in order to estimate the possibility for reinforcing the image. An original copy and a blurred version are alpha-blended for an additional reinforcement process.
