FIELD: methods for three-dimensional modeling of geological volume.;SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, a set of multi-sided macro-cells (M) is determined, adapted to geometry of geological layers of the volume subject to modeling and geological space parameters are determined for determining match between geological area under examination and parametric area, by connecting a display point located in the parametric area to a point belonging to the geological area.
