FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out night breathing monitoring with night breathing pattern being studied including apnea-hypopnea index AHI, desaturation index DI, desaturation magnitude, apnea duration and minimum night oxygen saturation (SaO2) are determined. DI is defined as the number of episodes when SaO2 falls more than by 4% 1 h before sleep. AHI value being greater than 38 events/h; DI greater than 39 events/h; desaturation magnitude greater than 12%; apnea duration greater than 45 s; minimum SaO2 less than 65%, high risk of respiratory, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders is to be predicted in persons suffering from destructive respiration disorders in sleeping. AHI value being equal to 11-25 events/h; DI equal to 18-30 events/h; desaturation magnitude less than 10%; apnea duration less than 35 s; minimum SaO2 less than 70%, low risk of above mentioned disorders is to be predicted in persons suffering from destructive respiration disorders in sleeping.;EFFECT: high accuracy in determining risk level.;2 tbl
