The tool has a piston stop device (30) with a damping unit (31) that is supported at a base (15). The device (30) exhibits a stopping unit (32) for a set piston (20). An inertia body (33) co-operates with the stopping unit. The inertia body is guided between two limit stops (35, 36) in a direction parallel to a longitudinal extension of the piston, where the limit stops are firmly connected with stopping unit. A distance between the limit stops in the longitudinal direction of the piston around an isolation path (38) is greater than length of the inertia body in longitudinal direction.
