The flow heater for a usable fluid has a storage tank (1) in which is installed a coaxial tube heat exchanger (2) consisting of a coiled outer tube (4) and an inner tube (3) located within it. The inner tube is flow-washed by the same heat-yielding fluid which is contained in the storage tank, while the annular passage between the inner tube and outer tube is flow-washed by the usable fluid, and the inner tube and outer tube after the fluid passage and connections are completely separated. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a use for a flow heater which is for the hygienic heating of domestic water in buildings; and (2) a hydraulic circuit of a heater for a usable fluid.
