The device has rotating bodies (102, 103) with a reflecting surface that reflects light produced by a light source (100) on a projecting surface, where the light is utilized for projecting images. The rotating bodies are rotated around their middle axis. Uniaxial linear movement of light impulses (101, 101`, 101``) is generated by varying an angle of the reflecting surface. The reflecting surface has a curved surface so that the angle of light reflection is asymmetrically varied.
