The compound has a liquid precursor, which is converted in a ceramic binding agent by using an organic peroxid, and a glass powder slurried in the liquid precursor. The ratio of the weight portion of the precursor and the glass powder is in the range of 1:1 to 1:4. The mass ratio of the components of the compound is selected such that expansion co-efficient of the compound is 10x10 -6 meter/Kelvin. The compound is designed as a layer arranged on an upper side of a housing upper part (110). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electrically insulated sealing unit for gas-sealed connection of two fuel cells (2) a fuel cell block including a set of fuel cells and a sealing unit.
