Preparation of a non-alcoholic wheat beer comprises dealcoholizing wheat beer containing alcohol, and removing the alcohol containing yeast wheat beer from the dealcoholized wheat beer, such that the amount of the alcohol and wheat malt is 0.5 vol.% and 50 wt.%, respectively, where the ratio of wheat malt and barley malt is 45 to greater than 50: less than 50 to 55 wt.%.
