The device has a locking bolt (2) moved in a reciprocating manner between a locking position and a releasing position. A control unit (10) works together with the bolt by a slider (14), and has a spiral groove that works together with a rotational position detector (11) by a two-armed turning lever (25). The lever with a projection is entered into a recess of the bolt during rotation of the control unit for moving the bolt from its locking position to its releasing position and turned into a position corresponding to the releasing position, for operating the detector.
