The method involves determining several temperature signals from corresponding number of measurements of quantities based on temperature of a radiation sensor (20) or based on multiple components of radiation sensor. An output signal of the radiation sensor is corrected with reference to the temperature signals. The correction of the output signal also takes place with reference to multiple calibration values. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for measuring temperature of an object (2) a device for measuring radiation using a sensor unit.
