The device has panels integrated in a U-shaped longitudinal support (1) of a vehicle base structure (2) and connected to a support rail (5). The panels are designed as carrier-U-profile (3) with a retaining space (3`). The profile is arranged in an upper area of the support and used as a closure element to close the support to form a closed profile. The U-profile is designed as a metallic roller profile and side walls of the U-profile are processed as C-shaped, where the upper C-shaped areas are turned to the inner side of the U-profile.
