The arrangement has an output at which a voltage controlled output potential is provided. A controllable output transistor (21) is connected with the output in a load side. An error detection circuit (26) provides a control signal during deviation of the potential from a reference value. A monitoring circuit (30) monitors the control signal, where the monitoring circuit charges and/or discharges a control terminal of the transistor on determining that the control signal is outside a given region, till the control signal is again within a given region.
