The method involves connecting an electrical generator with a network for outputting an electrical power to network connection points (NP1-NP3). The network is operated in an interference-free condition in a preset main voltage band that is limited by lower and higher voltages. The generator is automatically connected again with the network connection points according to interference-limited separation from the network when the voltage lying at the connection points is provided within the main voltage band and a preset voltage threshold value lying within the lower voltage is exceeded. An independent claim is also included for a wind turbine comprising an electrical generator driven by a rotor.
