The coupler has two coupling lugs from plastic with coupling hooks from steel and moved into each other. The coupling lugs are designed by shifting of unsymmetrical coupling heads of model railway vehicles that are to be connected in such a manner that the coupling lugs produce a desired bending-stiff connection of the model railway vehicles by the influence of magnets on the constructionally designed coupling hooks during coupling process.
