The method involves allowing automatically an access authorization for entry to a marketplace in a registration process of enterprises. An enterprise profile created for each access authorized enterprise is automatically stored in a database and read for the access authorized enterprises. A contract and/or a quotation of the enterprises is received for transacting a business process, and automatically stored in a standard format e.g. portable document format in another database. The access authorized enterprises are accessed for receiving the contract and/or the quotation in the databases. An independent claim is also included for a system for setting up of a business relationship and transacting a business between enterprises over an electronic business-to-business-market place in the internet.
