Use of active substances (I) for preventing the adhesion of microorganisms at skin cells and for controlling and prophylaxis of skin aging. An independent claim is included for a cosmetic formulation in combination with one or more modulators of pigmentation, like tyrosine sulfate, different saturated and unsaturated dicarboxylic acids, preferably 8-24C dicarboxylic acid, lipoic acid and lipoamide, different extracts of sweet wood, kojic acid, hydroquinone, arbutin, fruit acids, preferably alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), bearberry, ursolic acid, ascorbic acid, green tea extracts, aminoguanidine, pyridoxamine, nucleic acid-oligonucleotide, for a moderate skin appearance. ACTIVITY : Dermatological; Antiinflammatory; Antipsoriatic. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
