The wind power plant has at least one Flettner rotor (3) and drive (4) with energy conversion device (5). The rotor is movable horizontally into position over a circular travel path (v) through its base (2) which is one structural unit extending over the entire travel path and having a main extension plane which is mounted horizontal when the base is in the installed position. Preferably three such rotors are provided evenly spaced out over the travel path on the base. A linear guide (6) with guide rail running over the travel path supports the displaceable base. Independent claim describes Flettner rotor with a base which can be angled to the wind direction.
