The device has a holding device (1) attached at a user head, where the holding device is in a form of a eyeglass frame. A display unit (2) is provided for displaying an image around right eye (R) and left eye of the user. A coupling device (4) is mechanically connected with the holding device via the display unit. The coupling device enables the movement of the display unit along a preset path, which is so selected such that the movement of the unit corresponds to the pivoting of the unit around a pivotal point (DR) of a right eye and a pivotal point of a left eye of a user by the device (1).
