A partition wall in each cell of the paraglider or kite airfoil, separates the leading edge or nose section from the remainder of the cell. In this way it forms a two-chamber system, in which the chambers can be filled independently of each other, by the incident airflow. The leading edge chamber is filled through an opening or valve. The main cell is also filled through a separate opening or valve (1). Sides of the partition wall are fastened to the airfoil rib sections. It is also fastened to the upper and lower surfaces of the airfoil (2, 4).
