The system (1) has an image sensor (3) fixed on a substrate (2), and a lens unit (10) arranged before the sensor. A lens holder (8) is connected with the substrate, and the lens unit is accommodated in the holder. The substrate is multi-layered, and has a flexible carrier foil, which forms an elastic region (12) of the substrate. The elastic region exercises an elastic pretension, which presses the sensor against the lens unit. Conducting paths are formed on the foil to contact the sensor.
