Direct current voltage converting method for use in inverter, involves clocking switch units such that high potential and input direct current voltage lie at inputs of storage reactor in magnetized and free-wheel phases, respectively
Direct current voltage converting method for use in inverter, involves clocking switch units such that high potential and input direct current voltage lie at inputs of storage reactor in magnetized and free-wheel phases, respectively
The method involves closing and opening switch units (S1-S6) based on polarity of half waves of alternating current (AC) voltage (UNETZ) with an assigned clock sample for providing magnetized and freewheel currents to flow via a storage reactor (L) during respective phases. Operating conditions are detected to determine if the reactor is sufficiently magnetized during application of the sample in magnetized phase. The units are clocked such that a high potential (UZK2) and input direct current (DC) voltage (UZK1) lie at inputs of the reactor in magnetized and free-wheel phases, respectively. An independent claim is also included for an inverter.
